Meet John
John Eric is a Californian by birth and a Washingtonian by choice. Having grown up in Los Angeles, he headed east for college and never looked back. Upon completion of college, John jumped into the political realm. After working on a presidential campaign, the ensuing Presidential Inaugural Committee, and numerous other political organizations, he transitioned into the media.
Media and marketing flow through John’s veins. Growing up, his father owned a publishing company in Southern California, exposing him to the industry at an early age. He has an extensive background in marketing and advertising in tv, radio, and print, having worked for some of the largest media companies in America.
John’s extensive relationships in the worlds of politics and media made his transition into real estate seamless. With experience at Sotheby’s and Washington Fine Properties, John has worked with DC’s most prestigious firms. After twenty years in the business, John is proud to be a founding agent and Executive Vice President and Senior Advisor at Compass in the DC region.
