Salona Village (Mclean)

Salona Village in McLean is a small residential area with just about 200 homes. These privately owned homes are beautiful, often offering large square footage and ample backyards to provide lots of privacy. First developed in 1950, the area was once a working farm that dates to the 1800s. One of the best features of the area is the natural beauty it offers. That's due to over 40 acres of the original farm being part of an easement that doesn't allow for development. A strong conservation focus exists here.

The community is part of Fairfax County Public Schools, with Franklin Sherman Elementary School within a short drive. Though Salona Village is residential, it's just a few minutes from Dolley Madison Blvd, where there are numerous restaurants and shops. This community is a quiet, more secluded area just off the busy downtown area of McLean.
