Parks & Recreation
Parks and recreation staff members take great pride and delight in putting the “fun” in serving the community. Through the parks and recreation department, the Town of Vienna provides 12 safe and accessible parks and hundreds of recreational and educational programs each year, partners with community sports organizations, and maintains an abundance of trails and stream valleys, athletic fields, landscaped areas, trees, and rights-of-way throughout Town.
Parks and recreation staff members work with community organizations throughout the year to bring popular events to the community, including the Summer on the Green concert series, ViVa Vienna, Chillin’ on Church, July 4th festivities, and Oktoberfest.

To date in 2023, through 10/31/23, there have been 672 homes sales in Vienna, both in the Town of Vienna and in Fairfax County. These range from a 708 sq ft, one bedroom, one bath condo for $270,000 to $5,900,000 for a 15,000 sq ft, six bedroom, eight bathroom home. There are plenty of homes selling, with 91 condominiums, 402 single family homes, and 118 townhomes/rowhomes closed thus far in 2023.
