Did someone say they were looking for an area that is community minded and walkable when talking about their ideal housing situation?  Have we got a great community to talk about today:  The Clarendon and Courthouse neighborhoods of north Arlington! Located primarily along Clarendon Blvd and Wilson Blvd, and the areas surrounding these streets, these two neighborhoods are densely populated and feature a car-free lifestyle that many people crave.  With loads of shopping options, restaurant choices, and lifestyle opportunities, this area leaves you wanting nothing – even your car!   

This part of Arlington is zipping with energy, enough that they need two metro stations, Clarendon and Courthouse (creative, I know). You have plentiful grocery options, from Trader Joes to Giant to Whole Foods. Looking for the best pizza around?  You have so many different kinds of pizza, from Fireworks Pizza’s gorgeous wood-fired crust to Colony Grill’s Connecticut-style ‘za with hot oil, you’re covered.  There’s also a steak house that has to be the best kept secret in Arlington, Guerra Steakhouse – this is a team favorite and an eatery that is definitely worth making a reservation.  We also have award winning barbeque with Smokecraft Modern BBQ, with a big 5th place award at the coveted Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational Barbecue.

But, just because there’s great food choices, shopping opportunities, and great parks and access to public transportation…where can I live around here?  Don’t worry, there are plenty of choices!  Housing options in Clarendon and Courthouse are primarily condominiums and luxury townhomes, with some apartments buildings in the mix.  There is always some new construction, but here are some places that you should definitely check out when you’re looking to move to the Clarendon or Courthouse areas.

Hillcrest

The Clarendon Park town homes are conveniently located near the Clarendon Market Common as well as a wealth of shops and dining options and parks. Both the Clarendon and Courthouse Metro Stations on the Orange and Silver Lines are less than half mile from the Clarendon Park town homes.
